The Crystal Ball Says… – Herald Tribune

Essays by MJ Banias and Miguel “Red Pill Junkie” Romero in Robbie Graham’s 2017 collaborative work UFOs: Reframing the Debate have gotten Billy Cox seriously pondering why we are where we are, and have for a long time been, in ufology. Billy’s got an interesting possible solution: the president should start tweeting about UFOs! John Rimmer’s Science Says… may be as much a commentary on the state of “skeptical ufology” in the U.S. as it is about the book he’s reviewing: Donald R. Prothero’s and Timothy D. Callahan’s UFOs, Chemtrails and Aliens: What Science Says. And Mark O’Connell says he’s been thinking about a topic Rich Reynolds also recently posed in Our UFO Dad. O’Connell names a few “UFO leaders of tomorrow,” including a quartet he listened to discussing his own recent book The Close Encounters Man. These apparently younger gentlemen evinced “a deep appreciation for the work of Dr. J. Allen Hynek,” whose thoughts prefigured key elements also espoused by the contributors to UFOs: Reframing the Debate. (WM)
