Documents Prove Secret UFO Study Based in Nevada – CBS8 Las Vegas Now

This article/video answers some questions about the once-secret Pentagon UFO studies program disclosed in December. Among the questions answered: “AAWSAP”–Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program–was the original acronym for the study; its focus was later limited to “military encounters with unknown aircraft,” and the program then “dubbed AATIP.” Still contentious: former Senator Harry Reid’s relationship with Robert Bigelow in all this. What’s “new” is more information about the “larger role” in AAWSAP’s original tasking. That’s mostly covered in KLAS TV Online Managing editor Caroline Bleakley’s Statement from a Senior Manager of BAASS (Bigelow Aerospace Advance Space Studies). There are all sorts of questions generated here, including what all transpired from viewing “the human body as a readout system for UFO effects by utilizing forensic technology, the tools of immunology, cell biology, genomics and neuroanatomy for in depth study of the effects of UFOs on humans.” And that has got Billy Cox concerned, as expressed in A Question of Ownership. Cox first focuses on the two documents released through links in the George Knapp report. Cox properly claims no technical qualifications to evaluate these analyses, and it will be fun to see how researchers in the UFO community respond to them. But Cox draws sound implications on their import, then launches into what he thinks is a more significant general concern arising from the “Statement,” and outlines his follow up questions to what “sounds like a big-time tactical error by BAASS.” Stay tuned.
